From Village to Globe: Justice at the Heart of Ugandan Religious Life
A three-week, online workshop for Catholic Sisters, Brothers, and priests offered by the Justice Coalition of Religious (JCoR) in partnership with the Association of Religious in Uganda (ARU/AMSRIU)
All Catholic Sisters, Brothers, and priests who are living and serving in Uganda are invited to participate in this workshop on advocacy for justice and peace as an essential component of the Religious vocation. The programme will offer practical guidance on how to bring the needs and voices of the people you serve from the margins of society into national and global policy conversations. Special attention will be given to the role and opportunities for women and men religious to engage in the United Nations System.
The Programme is free of cost. “Digital access scholarships” are also available upon request for any Sister, Brother, or priest who may only be able to participate in an online workshop if they are reimbursed for the cost of a large mobile data package for the month of October and/or a personal internet “hotspot” device.
