View from the Margins: A People’s Critique on the VNR of India
On 25 July 2025, more than 150 people gathered in-person, in New York, and online for the joint event, “View from the Margins: A People’s Critique on the VNR of India.”
This event provided an opportunity for JCoR’s global community to gather and reflect upon the VNR presented by India at the 2025 High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. Participants also contributed their own perspectives on India’s progress (or lack of progress) on achieving the SDGs, particularly as related to youth.
The event was sponsored by the Justice Coalition of Religious, Edmund Rice International, PRATYeK, Medical Mission Sisters, and Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary – Loreto Generalate, and Fondazione Praclade Internazionale-Onlus.
