Engagement of Young Adults at the Intersection of Faith & Politics: an Education Session for Religious NGOs at the United Nations

This educational session will introduce the mission and activities of Georgetown University’s Initiative on Catholic Social Though in Public Life. Two members of the Initiative’s leadreship team will also offer remarks on some of the challenges they have experienced and lessons they have learned about effective engagement of young adults at the intersection of faith and politics. The session is tailored to members of the community of UN representatives of Catholic Religious congregations who want to more meaningfully engage young people in the ministry of UN-based advocacy. explicitly an act of faith in addition to being clearly political.
